I’m super excited. I didn’t think we’d be able to go, but friends are putting us up in DC and we got good deals on plane tickets so… :-D I haven’t been to the capital since I was 16 (see above picture) and that was for school-related stuff. I’m looking forward to seeing the city (however briefly) with my big girl eyes.

This is f*cked up. Look at what a beast the genetically altered salmon is as compared to a wild one.
Why is it so hard to just leave wildlife and plants alone and to responsibly and sustainably take what we need?
We give cows feed that they can’t digest to fatten them up and have to give them tons of antibiotics to keep them “healthy” as a result (not to mention giving them growth...
